“Computing machines are like the wizards in fairy tales.
They give you what you wish for,
but do not tell you
what that wish should be.”

To increase your company’s performance, you need a custom-tailored functional concept and a powerful technical platform. Such a platform makes it possible to provide the required information, plan new activities, and assess their impact.

Drawing on our detailed knowledge of the latest technological solutions, we will advise and support you in the design, development, and roll-out of systems for planning, forecasting, analysis, and reporting. Our consulting services are independent of manufacturers and suppliers – you will receive a solution tailored to your needs, consisting of technologies that have proven their worth in our projects through function, applicability, and flexibility.

Powerful BI system landscapes are characterized by carefully crafted concepts, targeted processes, and the use of appropriate tools.

User interface

The interfaces to the users are formed by flexible ad-hoc reporting modules and various applications for specialist uses. Their development is based on the specific requirements of the company’s technical and functional departments. Access is both read and write (i.e. in the context of planning and forecasting).

Information provisioning

Provisioning of information takes place on additional data levels that depict existing reporting, analysis, and planning contents. The data is optimized for queries and stored in high-performance databases. These can be accessed directly by the users or via the appropriate applications.

Data warehouse

Data is transferred to a data warehouse and structured and merged within this environment. Fast processing of large amounts of data is required here. Structural information must be stored and processed efficiently. As the business model develops, the data is prepared on the presentation level and more in-depth processing and analyses is provided. Technical and content administration is supported by process functions.

A BI architecture is based on the available operating systems with the relevant data, e.g. sales, order status, income statements, and costs. This data is loaded into the BI system via a suitable interface. Simple, adaptive access to the data sources is especially important here, as are fast and flexible data transfers of complete and partial data sets.
